Travolta married the love of his life -- Kelly Preston -- twice over. They were first married by a French Scientologist minister in Paris and a month later had a legal ceremony; they both are Scientologists.

Kelly, who hails from Hawaii, and John, like most film stars, met on a movie set. They were Bonnie and Travis then, the film setting was USSR and the film was The Experts. It was one of those flicks that sunk into anonymity the moment it released but it laid the foundation for a Travolta shaadi. Incidentally it was Travolta's first and only round at the altar, though Kelly had been there before.

The Pulp Fiction hero revealed some secrets of his successful relationship, especially in the face of constant media speculation, to Britain's Daily Mail: 'We have to work at it. Most people forget that you have to create relationships. The allure of the first years settles down and at that moment, you better start creating it, otherwise you're going to lose out. You have to be ready to battle the worst insults, the worst innuendos. People say things that hurt. I think, 'Wow, so because I have money or fame, I don't have problems? I don't have feelings?' I just try not to take offence'.

The Travoltas have a son Jett, 14, and a daughter Ella, 7, and are planning for a third child this year.
