Together: since 2000

Now here's a couple who really look good together. And they have been partners for seven years.

Michael is exactly 25 years older (they share a birthday) than the sexy, strikingly beautiful Welsh actress. Michael, famous for his role in Wall Street met Catherine at the Deauville American Film Festival in France a few years after he had a serious skiing accident that put his film career on hold. Prior to that he had been married for 23 years to Diandra Luker which ended, it was rumoured, because of Michael's affairs.

As the story goes, Michael's pick up line to Catherine was: I want to be the father of your children. They were married at New York's Plaza Hotel (that has starred in several films) in a lavish ceremony where a Welsh choir sang, Welsh lamb was served and a Welsh flag featured. They both have Welsh rings and Catherine also apparently has a pre-nuptial agreement promising her five million dollars if Michael is ever unfaithful.

Golf keeps the couple together, apart from 'being kind to each other'. They told ExtraTV.com: 'We spend hours together, all around the world, playing golf. Some of our biggest discussions are around golf'.

'When I was first so smitten with Catherine,' Michael added, 'I asked 'Do you play golf?' She said, 'I love it'. Yes, that's it. The deal's done!'

Michael and Catherine have two kids -- Dylan Michael Douglas and Carys Zeta Douglas.
