Jaggesh also pays handsome compliments to his brother Komal for his brilliant portrayal of the role essayed by Jagathi Sreekumar in the original.
"I have acted with my brother in many films including the recent hits like Tenali Rama, and Honey Moon Express. But this one is different," says Komal, the leading comedy actor in Kannada.
"I have an equally important role and even though I am not in the same league as my brother in talent, it is nice to get some appreciation especially from him," he adds.
Also acting in the film is Gurlin Chopra from Punjab, who has been seen in films like Saradaara, Vishnu Sene and Pandavaru. She plays a double role for the first time here.
"It is the best role of my career," she says. "Jaggesh sir was helpful and I have worked very hard to portray the two characters."
