Some films owe their greatness to neat narration. Ee Preethi Onthara is one such film.

Directing an ensemble largely comprised of debutants is Tenemane Subramanyam -- incidentally, this happens to be his first film as well.

This episode director of many popular teleserials has written a good screenplay and has also managed to get the best out of the cast, including veterans like Ramesh Bhat, Thulasi Shivamani and Pavithra Lokesh.

There is nothing special about the story. There is Sachin who loves Priya, but Priya prefers Rahul, who likes her but not to the extent of love. Meanwhile, there is another person with a shady past who wants to marry Priya.  How the love triangle and the confusing story is resolved forms the plot of the film.

Sachin who made his debut in action film Daya Naayak is good, but it is Maanya's performance which is the best.

Mithun Tejaswi delivers a competent performance in the role of Rahul while Chetan, as the villain is repetitive. Thulasi Shivamani, Ramesh Bhat and Pavithra Lokesh have all excelled in their roles.

Music by Shameer is good.

In the times of violent films, Ee Preethi Onthara is a breath of fresh air.
