I did several things before entering films. Since my father was in the army, I would travel a lot. Initially, I came to Mumbai for three weeks, but stayed on for so many years.

I took up modeling, and got a part-time job at Mumbai's Prithvi theatre. Later, I took up a sales job in a company, and also worked in the hotel industry for a short time.

I guess I was destined to enter films. I succeeded in my fourth screen test, and since then, have been in the film industry.
