Chennai's filmi weddings: Selva, Sonia to tie the knot
Naturally, expectations were high when Selva started his 'third' film, Pudupettai. This time the hero was again his younger brother Dhanush and there were two heroines: Sonia Agarwal and Sneha. Selva was expected to revive his younger brother's career which was going through one of its worst phases, with three flops in a row.Alas! It was not to be. Pudupettai had excellent music from his close friend Yuvan Shankar Raja and the film received one of the best openings, solely due to the director’s reputation. But most were disappointed with the film.
Sneha, known as a good performer, played a sex worker in Pudupettai and stole the show from Sonia Agarwal.
