In his long career, Hrishikesh Mukherjee made all kinds of movies.
He was a master at both, making you laugh and cry.
Whether it was Anand that saw tragedy laced with humour, or clean-cut comedies like Chupke Chupke, Golmaal and Bawarchi, Hrishida always struck a chord with the common man and produced wholesome entertainment.
The legendary director died on Sunday evening after a prolonged illness.
