He grew up in the suburb with his three siblings and cousin Mansoor Khan, who has given up directing movies like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak to live quietly in south India.

Aamir's building Bella Vista Apartments is located deep within a housing colony and it is impossible to see it from the road.

This window is in fact all one can see of his first floor apartment, as seen through the back entrance of a neighbouring building.

Aamir and wife Kiran Rao live here. Younger brother Faisal Khan stays in the adjoining building, other siblings and cousins live down the road.
