Aamir Khan has finally cut his long tresses and moustache!

The actor went for a haircut on Monday night to give himself a new look for his new film Rang De Basanti [Images], to be directed by Rakesh Mehra (Aks [Images]).

Khan had started growing his hair about four months before Ketan Mehta's The Rising went on the floors last year. The actor seemed proud of his moustache and didn't want to shave it right away.

He apparently told a television channel that he wanted to retain his moustache until the release of The Rising, and also expected the audience to come to the theatres to watch the film with a moustache, similar to his!
