Also, a new DVD.

The 1988 documentary Imagine: John Lennon will be released on December 6. Selected from over 450 hours of film, and spanning over 100 hours of interviews, it is narrated by Lennon himself. What you get are rare home movies, stories of his life, 40 of his best known tracks, exclusive interviews with both his wives, his sons Julian and Sean, and Beatles producer George Martin.

There are a number of new books too, the most interesting of which appears to be John, written by his ex-wife, Cynthia, with a foreword by their son, Julian. According to the publisher, it has new revelations about the marriage and divorce, and Cynthia's dealings with Yoko Ono. There's also a book by Ono, featuring pictures taken by Lennon's personal photographer.
