"The celebrations will last from December 6 to the 10," he says. "On December 9, we will have a nikaah as well as a wedding according to Manglorean rites, as I'm a Manglorean."

"My outfits will be designed by Karan Johar and Manish Malhotra," he adds.

Karan will write and direct a skit for the reception.

While Shirish confirms the couple will honeymoon abroad, he does not divulge any details.

He is also preparing for his directorial debut, starring the Mujhse Shaadi Karogi pair Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. It will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, a close friend of his brother-in-law-to-be Sajid Khan and will be shot entirely in London. The shooting will start in April.

While the lead actress has not been decided yet, Shirish says his film will be an intense romantic film, but not a love triangle.

Wifey will choreograph the songs.
