Are you doing a television serial for Sahara Television?
Yes. They will select a project for me soon. It could be fiction or drama.

I have to finish it before July 2005. Sahara is like family. Both Jaya [Bachchan] and I are doing television for them. I may not be able to do a game show for Sahara because I have a contract with Star Plus to do one.

My contract with Star Plus has been shifted to 2005-2006. Their contract for the rest of my 85 episodes was about to expire. I didn't want them to forfeit it, so I decided to do the Sahara project first. Then, I will return to Star to complete my Kaun Banega Crorepati series.

I have been very busy. I was supposed to go to Hong Kong last year because the Indian community there wanted to honour me. Unfortunately, I couldn't due to my back problem. They also held a Miss Hong Kong pageant for which [son] Abhishek [Bachchan] was one of the judges. I also had to shoot for Gaurang Doshi's Deewar in Pune.
