You have sung four songs in Baghban.
You know, I don't like to sing. I was tricked into singing for Baghban.

[Director] Kuki [Ravi Chopra] and Aadesh felt I should sing the songs. I was reluctant. Aadesh [Shrivastava, music director] just told me to try the songs out for a lark. I did and he recorded my voice without telling me.

I enjoyed it. I had heard my father [the late Harivanshrai Bachchan] singing the Holi song when I was four years old. I had sung another Holi song in Silsila.

Aadesh and I are like family. Whenever I am sad, I walk across to his music room. We sit and sing folks songs from our hometown Allahabad. I am very comfortable with him.

A music expert once said I was an atrocious singer and I should stick to acting. So if you think I have sung well, it is because of those wonderful recording gadgets. They can make anyone sound good.
