Bride And Prejudice also stars former beauty queen Namrata Shirodkar. She was crowned Miss India in 1993, a year before Rai.

Shirodkar, though, has had the going rough in Bollywood. Most of her films have sunk at the box office and she is seen mainly in supporting roles these days.

Her next Bollywood release is Khalid Mohamed's Tehzeeb, costarring Urmila Matondkar, Shabana Azmi, Dia Mirza and Arjun Rampal. Tehzeeb also stars former Miss World (1997) Diana Hayden.
