Anupam Kher was a Sikh in his first international film, Bend It Like Beckham. Now, he plays Mr Bakshi, the Indian version of Mr Bennet, the worried father of four unmarried daughters -- Aishwariya Rai, Namrata Shirodkar, Meghana Kothari and Peeya Rai.

Kher's autobiographical one-man play, Kuch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai, opened this year. Some of the Bride And Prejudice cast and crew caught a recent show. Kher captures Chadha's feedback on his handycam.
