The moment: Director Farhan Akhtar made an impressive use of close-ups in his debut film. Witness one of the final scenes: Sid (Akshaye Khanna) receives a call from Akash (Aamir Khan). They haven't spoken for a long time. Akash apologises. As does Sid.
Akash, in his characteristic me-first manner, says, 'Tu kisi aur din maang lena (You can apologise some other day).' Sid smiles, 'Tu bilkul nahi badla (You haven't changed a bit).' Akash doesn't miss the opportunity to wisecrack, 'Haan, waise bhi perfection ko improve karna mushkil hota hai (It is hard to improve perfection).'
Sid wants to know where he is. Akash asks him to turn around. Sid discovers Akash standing near him. They both hug. Friends forever. Nice touch!
