Despite her 71 years, Elizabeth Taylor looked striking at the screening of the film Giant.

Taylor made her film debut at the age of 10 in There's One Born Every Minute (1942). There has been no turning back since, even as she faced the good (two Oscars and the first-ever US $1 million pay cheque), the bad (weight problems and drug battles), and the ugly (eight failed marriages) phases of life.

The actress continues to be best known for her ravishing act in Joseph L Mankiewicz's Cleopatra (1963).
