Jaaved Jafferi has come a long way from his 1985 screen debut in Subhash Ghai's Meri Jung.

Yesteryear comedian Jagdeep's son, a marvellous mimic, ensured the success of television shows like Bollywood Flashback and Boogie Woogie. He has also acted in Deepa Mehta's Fire (1996).

He recently wrote the dialogues for the dubbed Hindi version of Disney's Jungle Book 2. He also has a small but significant role in Sooraj Barjatya's Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon.
