Subhash Ghai's dream of making a film with the three legends, Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, has come to naught.
SRK has apparently refused to dole out the required dates for Ghai's newest venture, Homeland.
The story goes that SRK did not respond to Ghai's offer before he flew to London for his back surgery. When he returned, he refused the film because he now had a backlog to catch up on.
SRK's priorities are Karan Johar's Kal Ho Na Ho (opposite Preity Zinta), Farah Khan's Main Hoon Na (also starring Sushmita Sen, Zayed Khan, Amrita Rao) and Ashutosh Gowarikar's Swades.
A disappointed Ghai has now roped in Akshaye Khanna, who has earlier starred in his film, Taal (Aishwarya Rai, Anil Kapoor).
Sameera has her hands full
Despite her poor debut in Maine Dil Tujhko Diya (opposite Sohail Khan), Sameera Reddy's kitty is full.
She says happily, "I have Ram Gopal Varma's Darna Mana Hai [Saif Ali Khan, Urmila Matondkar, Fardeen Khan, Vivek Oberoi] and Sanjay Gupta's Plan [Sanjay Dutt, Dino Morea, Sanjay Suri, Bikram Saluja, Rohit Roy, Priyanka Chopra, Payal Rohatgi]. I am talking to Sanjay about his next film, Musafir [Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Anil Kapoor, Mahesh Manjrekar], since Priyanka has not been finalised for it. Ramu is also planning to take me in one of his forthcoming productions.
The Reddy sibling adds, "I am also doing two films with Pooja Bhatt. The first will be her directorial debut, Paap [opposite John Abraham]. The second will be Soni Razdan's directorial debut."
Nauheed's hot
Even without a single release to her credit, Nauheed is hot property.
Apart from her upcoming film, Padam Kumar's Supari (Uday Chopra, Purab Kohli, Nandita Das and Rahul Dev), she will be seen opposite Amisha Patel's brother, Ashmit, in Vikram Bhatt's Imtehan and Ahmed Khan's Lakeer (Sunny Deol, John Abraham, Sohail Khan, Apurva Agnihotri).
