Nandita Das was recently seen in Raja Menon's Bas Yun Hi, opposite veejay Purab Kohli. Supari will be her second film after her wedding to ad man Soumya Sen in January 2003.

Apparently, Das took a long time to consider her role before she finally decided to do the film.
