No pay, no work: Ash

Ramesh Sippy's Kuch Na Kaho, which has been in the making for a while, continues to be plagued with problems.

The film marks the debut of Sippy's son, Rohan, as director. Apparently, heroine Aishwarya Rai has refused to dub for it until her pending dues are cleared.

Kuch Na Kaho also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Suhasini Mulay, Satish Shah and Tanaaz Currim.

Uday returns to college

Yash Raj Films is planning a film with Uday Chopra as the main lead. His career has been sluUday Chopraggish, despite decent performances in Mohabbatein, Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai and a special appearance in Mujhse Dosti Karoge.

Uday confirms, "There is a film being made by my home banner." And quickly adds, "I am in it only because I fit the part."

Currently, Chopra Jr is awaiting the release of Padam Kumar's Supari, where he plays a middle-class Mumbai college-goer who wants to make a quick buck.

From Padosan to Nayi Padosan

Nitin Manmohan's film Nayi Padosan is a remake of Mehmood's rip-roaring classic, Padosan.

The remake will feature model Anuj Sahni. Anuj, who has modelled for Raymonds and Fiat Sienna, will essay the part played by Sunil Dutt.

Ode to daddyMeghna Gulzar

After her directorial debut with Filhaal, Meghna Gulzar is writing a book on her father, poet-writer-filmmaker Gulzar.

She is expected to submit her manuscript in a month's time.
