Aishwarya is the first Indian actress to become a jury member at the Cannes Film Festival. But this wasn’t her first brush with Cannes.

The light-beauty was here in 2002 as well, to promote her film Devdas along with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and costar Shah Rukh Khan. Devdas enjoyed an out-of-competition screening at Cannes’ Grand Theatre Lumiere.
