Paresh Rawal has always been Priyadarshan's favourite actor, whether it was Hera Pheri, Yeh Tera Ghar Yeh Mera Ghar or Hungama. In fact, Rawal stole the show in the first two films; he also won the Filmfare award for Best Actor in a Comic Role for Hera Pheri.

Hungama features a string of sub-plots, besides the tangles of the four main characters. The other actors caught in the film's web include Shakti Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Tiku Talsania, Shoma Anand, Neena Kulkarni, Upasna Singh and Sanjay Narvekar.
