Director Sangeeth Sivan is cinematographer-director Santosh Sivan's brother and made the Sunny Deol-Sushmita Sen starrer Zor in 1997.

He has also directed Jackie Shroff's yet-to-be-released production Sandhya, a supernatural thriller.
