Set against the backdrop of a joint family where the 'bad' sister-in-law (Pallavi) tries hard to ruin the 'good' one (Parvati), this serial was awarded the Best Drama Series by the Indian Television Awards.

The story has turned a corner and now has Parvati shedding her 'goody-goody' nature and facing Pallavi, who wants to destroy the Aggarwal household, head-on. While she had adopted a peaceful way to face Pallavi, she changes course for a tit-for-tat policy.
