One of Kareena Kapoor's recent sensuous portrayals was as Kaurwaki, in Santosh Sivan's Asoka. The film starring Shah Rukh Khan and produced by him and Juhi Chawla, did not fare well.

But one of the songs, composed by Anu Malik, that hit the top of the charts thanks to its sultry appeal and melody, not to mention Kapoor's oomph, was San sanan.
