Debutante Mugadass (who was assistant of S J Surya, of Vaalee and Kushee fame), directs this "family movie with not much violence".
It has Malayalam star Suresh Gopi, who plays elder brother to Ajith. The latter plays a softie in the first half and embittered and hardened in the second.
