Like Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgan too played a double role in 2000.

Unlike Shah Rukh, he was plain unlucky in both the roles. As a producer, his ultra-expensive Raju Chacha, starring himself and wife Kajol, failed to excite the audiences despite the huge sets and slick computer graphics.

Even the kids, at whom the film was targetted, seemed to want a more cohesive script!

As a hero, Ajay Devgan's Deewane bombed miserably. In this film too, Ajay played a double role.
