W Motors, the first Arab manufacturer of hypercars in the Middle East, launched the Lykan HyperSport at the International Qatar Motor Show on July 28, 2013. The company says the $3.4 million car will be limited to only seven units worldwide. It packs in 750 horsepower from a twin-turbocharged, horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine and is capable of 245mph.

Gumpert, which is named after its founder, Roland Gumpert, began producing Apollo in 2005. The car packs in 650 horsepower, can go up to 360km/h (224mph) and accelerates from 0 to 100km/h (0-62mph) in just three seconds.

German manufacturer Daimler's Laundaulet is powered by 620-horsepower, turbocharged V12 engine. The roof of the luxury car can be opened fully at the rear, while the chauffeur's compartment remains completely enclosed. The passengers seated in opulent armchairs upholstered in white leather are treated to an open-air experience. Opening and closing of the roof takes just 16 seconds, according to the company's website.
