A fire broke out on Tuesday in the old building of the Reserve Bank of India in south Mumbai which was later doused off, fire officials said.
Four fire engines were pressed into service to put off the flames, officials said.
The fire broke out at 1040 hours.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, they said.
However, no casualties have been reported.
