Sensex sinks again; rupee at record low

S Korean shares down 9 per cent

South Korean shares were down 9 per cent on Thursday, following Wall Street's overnight decline and falls on Asian markets.

The KOSPI index was down 102.12 points at 1,032.47. Big exporters were hard hit amid renewed pessimism about the state of the world economy.
