Are you concerned that this financial cataclysm could also affect countries like India?
You see, emerging markets, particularly India, are now on a growth trajectory.
In India the stock markets are weak at the moment, and property prices too have fallen.
As against a few years ago when India was a seller's market, thanks to low real estate prices, it has now become a buyer's market.
Consumerism is growing in India, and demand far outweighs supply. India's consumer class will continue to grow.
Initially, everyone will be hit because, as I said earlier, US is still the leader in the financial sector.
And when the leader falls, no one can be immune from the ripple effects.
But India is in a better position to recover, as it is not in the same kitty as most others.
