Nokia, the world's leading manufacturer of mobile phones, will be cutting almost 600 jobs, mainly in its sales and marketing division.
The company has estimated that approximately 450 permanent employees, with a maximum of 100 in its home base, Finland, will be affected. Another 130 employees from the Nokia Research Centre would lose their jobs.
