British drug maker GlaxoSmithKline PLC is reducing its US sales force by 1,000 employees.
The world's No 2 drug maker (when it comes to sales) will be reducing its sales representative positions by about 1,800. The actual jobs that would be lost would be 1,000; the rest of the positions are vacant.
