India at the air show
A partner country at the ILA 2008, this is India's largest-ever presentation at any foreign aerospace show.
"India is experiencing the world's fastest passenger traffic growth in the near term and we are delighted to be a part of these exciting times through our partnership with Jet Airways," Airbus chief executive Tom Enders said at the Berlin Air Show.
Jet Airways took delivery of its latest Airbus A330-200 aircraft at the Berlin Air Show. The aircraft forms part of an order for 15 Airbus A330-200 aircraft placed between 2005 and 2007.
Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd is exhibiting a number of aircraft for the first time in Germany, including the 'Dhruv' light military and civilian helicopter.
The Indian companies participating are Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL), Bharat Earth Movers Ltd (BEML), Bharat Dynamics Ltd (BDL), Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL), Mishra Dhatu Nigam Ltd (MIDHANI), the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), the Tata group, Larsen & Toubro, CADES, ACCORD Software & Systems and Saraswati Dynamics.
