Talk of woman power in board room. Meher Pudumjee, chairperson of Thermax, juggles her roles as professional manager, wife and mother, with the expertise, probably a woman can only muster.
Chairperson since 2004 of the Pune-based Thermax, one of India's leading companies in energy and environment management, Meher was born on October, 11 1966 to Rohinton and Anu Aga.
Under her leadership, Thermax had made it to the Forbes' list of Asia's Best Under a Billion for 2005.
Meher Pudumjee, is passionate about Western classical and is one of the most enthusiastic members of a Pune-based choir group.

In August 1990 she joined Thermax as a trainee engineer,
In about a year's time took over the responsibility of managing Thermax's subsidiary company in the UK, along with her husband (Pheroz Pudumjee).
She returned to India in 1996 and in September of that year she was appointed to the Board of Directors of Thermax
She became a non-executive director in 2001.
In 2002 she was elevated as vice-chairperson
Education:
Completed her post graduation in Chemical Engineering from the Imperial College of Science & Technology, London.
RATUL PURI
Ratul Puri joined Moser Baer in 1994 and has been executive director since 2001.
Prior to assuming this role, Ratul was general manager (business development).
He was instrumental in setting up plants for manufacturing compact disc-recordables (CD-Rs), the first to come up in India.

Schooling from St Columbus, New Delhi.
Degree in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, USA
