As tales of Lalu's magic with the Railways spread, prestigious management schools approached him to take lectures and share his experience with them.
He was first invited by the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad to give a lecture on the success story of the Railways.
The students of IIM-A also presented a detailed case study on the 'turnaround' of the Indian Railways under Lalu's leadership. Foreign management students from the Harvard and Wharton also had an interactive session with Lalu.
He addressed over hundred students from Harvard and Wharton in Hindi. Lalu Prasad is also the subject of a study by sociologists at Harvard University.
