December 30, 2008

In fact, the Proteus's main structure is constructed of titanium and aluminium and connected to the twin hulls by ball joints fitted with spring and shock absorbers.

Two engine pods, containing the propellers and ancillary systems, are fastened to the hulls with special hinges that keep propellers in the water at all times.

And, not only the Proteus could be the ocean cruiser of the future, according to the scientists, WAM-V could even be used for water sports.
