These Indians donated millions to Clinton Foundation

Vinod Gupta was until recently Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of infoGROUP granted $250,000 to $500,000 to the Foundation.

Corporate spending on behalf of the Clintons led to a shareholder lawsuit against Gupta, which cost him his job. Gupta would remain on the board of directors. He has contributed substantial amounts for education in India.

He donated $1 million for a women's polytechnic in his village of Rampur Manhyaran, in Uttar Pradesh. The Polytechnic was inaugurated by the former US President Bill Clinton. In addition he gave his alma mater, Indian Institute of Technology, $2 million to create the Vinod Gupta School of Management.
