It's no longer a secret. The Bill Clinton Foundation has lifted the veil over the millions of dollars of donations from foreign governments in the Middle East, business magnates from Canada, India, Nigeria and Ukraine and other chairtable organisations during the last 10 years.
The Foundation has released a list of more than 200,000 donors to his foundation. The Foundation raised a total of $492 million since its inception in 1997 till the end of 2007. Global giants, which are now reeling under financial crisis also contributed to this fund.
Citigroup's Citi Foundation gave ($1 million to $5 million), AIG ($500,000 to $1 million), Lehman Brothers ($100,000 to $250,000) and Goldman Sachs ($50,000 to $100,000).
The Foundation which carries out charitable activities around the world, had refused to disclose details of the contributors. But with the appointment of Hillary Clinton as the new Secretary of State, the Foundation has agreed to release these names and also submit the Foundation future activities to an ethics review. Here's a list of the Indian connection, who gave, how much...
