Vijaypat Singhania was honoured for his aviator exploits with a Padma Bhushan.

The head of the JK Group and Mumbai's sheriff is more famous for his solo trips by small planes and hot air balloons. Singhania broke a world record when he soared to 69,852 feet on a balloon flight last November.
