Vishwanathan Anand

Product: NIIT
Ad Agency: Contract

Grandmaster Vishwanathan Anand is said to have refused more than one contract because he cannot concentrate on giving the sponsor his best and win his chess games at the same time.

While he doesn't rake in too much moolah endorsement-wise, his contract with NIIT is said to be in the range of Rs 5 crore (Rs 50 million).

Besides endorsement money, Anand, who lives in Spain, reportedly makes between $700,000 to a million dollars a year, depending on whether it is a world championship year or not.
