Telecom magnate and Bharti Group Chairman Sunil Mittal, in the past year, has jumped up from the seventh to the fourth spot, says the Business Standard survey.
Mittal's net worth is estimated at Rs 5,000 crore ($1.10 billion), with his wealth having grown by Rs 2,945 crore ($647 million) since the last year.
Bharti Tele-Ventures, a group company, showed a sharp turnaround in the last couple of quarters, and its stock price increased by an eye-popping 143 per cent after the fourth quarter results.
