BSNL launches 'accountless' Internet services

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd has introduced the "CLI based accountless Internet services" in Chennai.

The service, available from Wednesday, has attractive features like pay as you use, surf Internet at 10 paise per minute plus the normal telephone charges and free online registration - without purchasing an Internet account, S S Iyer, chief general manager, Chennai Telephones told reporters in Chennai.

The service is available to all BSNL basic telephone subscribers - in Chennai - who would be getting the Internet bill along with the regular telephone bill.
