Nobel laureate Amartya Sen warned India not to destroy its cultural diversity, but to celebrate it and make it a model for the rest of the world.
Speaking at the first Pravasi Bharatiya Divas meet, he said: "We need to celebrate the diversity of the culture where tradition, culture and civilization are all open."
