Mallya venture arm to fund IT firms

IQBridge Mauritius, the venture consulting arm of UB group's chairman Vijay Mallya, has announced its decision to fund Inqube Web Pvt Ltd and Manchitra Services, both based in Delhi.

A press statement from the UB Group said, the funding will help these companies to expand their operations to the US, Europe and other countries. Inqube has partnerships with Nokia and Nuance and builds products for the Internet, enabling access to information and transactional capabilities through Internet enabled wireless devices as well as narrowband telephones utilising voice browsing technology.

Manchitra develops solutions for vehicle navigations/ fleet management using GPS/GSM and enterprise solutions for selected industry verticals such as telecom and utilities. The press statement also said SeeItFirst has signed a three-year reseller and two-year licensing agreement with the UB Group.

The UB Group will promote SeeItFirst's interactive streaming media solutions to global corporations and media companies in India, Singapore, China, Hong Kong and Australia, the press statement said.
