They dot the city at Dahisar, Goregaon Pahaadi and Malvani in the western suburbs; Mulund, Bhandup, Kanjur, Nahur, Ghatkopar, Chembur, Turbhe and Mandale in the eastern suburbs; and Wadala and Anik in central Bombay.

But soon they will be no more.
