BSE, NSE suspend trade in DSQ SoftwareIndia's top two stock exchanges said on Wednesday they have suspended trading in shares of software services company DSQ Software from August 2. The Bombay Stock Exchange, the country's oldest bourse said on its website www.bseindia.com that the decision was taken after a Madras court on Tuesday vacated an injunction against the suspension of trade. The country's largest bourse the National Stock Exchange also said on its website www.nseindia.com it was suspending trading in DSQ Software from Thursday. Both exchanges had slapped the suspension in July for non-compliance with listing rules, but the ban was put on hold after a Madras court stayed the ruling. Exchange officials did not give details of the nature of non-compliance. Shares of the company were down the maximum permissible 20 per cent at both exchanges after the announcement was made. The benchmark 30-stock Sensex was down 0.28 per cent, while the broader National Stock Exchange index was 0.23 per cent lower at that point.
