Vivo has introduced a new smartphone in India, expanding its Y series lineup. The newly-launched Vivo Y39 has come up with an array of great features, making it a noteworthy addition to the brand’s portfolio.
The Vivo Y39 5G smartphone features a 6.68-inch display with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. For durability, it is equipped with SCHOTT Xensation α cover glass.
The Vivo Y39 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor and offers up to 8GB of RAM, along with an additional 8GB of virtual RAM support. It also provides ample storage, with options going up to 256GB.
This handset runs on FunTouch OS 15, based on Android 15, and also Vivo promises of two years of Android updates and three years of security patches.
The Vivo Y39 5G comes with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. The company claims it has undergone rigorous environmental testing, earning Military Grade Resistance and SGS certification for durability.
The Vivo Y39 5G is equipped with a 50MP Sony primary camera and a 2MP bokeh lens on the rear, along with an 8MP front camera for selfies. Also comes with AI enhancer for photo editing.
The Vivo Y39 5G offers a range of connectivity features, including Bluetooth 5.0, and dual-band Wi-Fi. It also supports multiple global navigation system such as GPS, China-BeiDou, Russia-GLONASS, Europe-Galileo, and Japan-QZSS. Powering the device is a 6,500mAh battery, paired with 44W fast charging for quick and efficient recharging.
The Y39 5G is priced at ₹16,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and ₹18,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB model. It is available in two colour options: Lotus Purple and Ocean Blue.
