We'd invited you, our readers to share your love stories.
Here, reader Titli Roy shares with us her very moving story.
I met him when I was in Class 9. At the time, I was a girl of 13 and had studied in an all girls' school; he was in an all boys' school.
We met at my biology tuition where I was the only girl among the 20 other boys. As anyone could guess it was highly uncomfortable for me. So I used to sit in the first row along with another boy.
I used to enter the classroom along with the teacher and leave along with him too.
As I joined the tuition rather late than all the other students my teacher asked me to arrange for the notes which he had already given from some other fellow student.
I was new and knew none in the batch still I mustered courage to ask to copy notes from a few of my classmates. They were pretty reluctant to giving it and it was then that this young boy with spectacles and a cute boyish charm rose up from his desk and said, "Here...take my copy. You can return it afterwards!"
I didn't even know his name. I was so shy at that moment that I didn't even see his face properly. I just took his copy and sped away on my bicycle. The next day as I returned his copy he introduced himself with a cute smile. He was Suraj. Days went by and I increasingly grew fond of this newfound friend of mine. He used to shield me from the other tuitionmates as they teased me and disturbed me. He walked with me till my home every day as our tuitions ended but we hardly talked except formal greeting. But whenever I used to turn my head around in class and look towards him I always found him starring at me and smiling blankly.
He certainly had something in him that drew towards him at the same time.
Finally after five months of our silent love story he finally 'proposed' to me and I said yes without even thinking twice.
In those days we didn't have any personal mobile phones so we both used to call each other on our landlines.
Six months later, both our parents came to know about our relationships and flashed the red light. Reason? He was a South Indian and I was Bengali... so no one was ready to accept a difference in culture -- neither his parents nor mine.
My parents cut off all ways that I could have used to contact him still somehow we managed to meet one last time and decided not to go against the wishes of our family and move on with our lives.
I still remember those teary pair of eyes the last time I saw him. I was mentally stronger than him and didn't cry in before him but today after ten long years I still cry for him and still love him.
I am now a established person in my life working with a reputed MNC and both my parents are keen on getting me married off to some good boy and I have met quite a few of them but never felt drawn or any particular attraction towards any such people. The last time I heard of him was some two years back when he got engaged with a girl of his community.
I don't know if he still loves me or not or if he had dismissed the affair as a childish play done in his past but to me he has been my love for my life...my first love...the love which was silent. It never demanded, never gave and was never fulfilled.

Jab We Met: 'I can't love anybody now!'
Next up is yet another heartbreaking story of reader Vadi Vel
It was the first day of my job's training; she was seated in the corner of the room. With glasses she looked cute and pretty.
On the second day she was found sleeping in the training so was made to sit in the first row with me.
It was the day when I spoke to her first time; we started to get to know each other and spent time together.
Within the 10-day training period, we became good friends and at the same time people began to spread rumours that we were in love. So the day when we were moved to live project I came to know that she was already in love and committed, but it didn't affect me as we were just friends.
As time passed we became more possessive of each other. I didn't like when she spoke to other guys, or having tea break with other members. It may probably be because she was the first girl with whom I became so close.
So, I spent lot of time with her and went to each others home and got acquitted with each others family.
A year passed and we missed each other when we are not together. One fine day she introduced her would-be to our team members that is day I realised that I was in love with her.
That day I felt so lonely, felt that nobody was around me when many people complained that I didn't even responded to them.
The next day we went to movie along with the team, that is the time confessed that I was in love with her. Time passed I convinced myself that she is not mine anymore and she got another job and move out; I too changed my job.
Our interaction and meeting gradually reduced, time passed and even our phone calls reduced. She got married to her love and now she has two beautiful daughters. But still I cannot get over her. Many times, a lot of things remind me of her.
Just being possessive with somebody led to love and disaster of my life, now I feel that I can't love anybody in my life.
